Inheritance Disputes
If a family member has either not left you any gift in their estate or perhaps, a gift is not what you were expecting it to be, you may be able to challenge the Will. The main way to make a claim against an estate is under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975. This law sets out different groups of people who are entitled to make a claim against the deceased person’s estate.
Whether you are the one who wants to challenge the validity of a Will, if you feel you have been unfairly left out or not been adequately provided for, or if you are the one who is acting as an executor of a Will that somebody else is contesting, we are here to help.
