Howells Solicitors have once again been highly ranked as one of the top law firms in the 2014 edition of the Legal 500.
Maintaining their rankings from last year, Howells has been recognised for several areas across all family, civil and criminal departments in the professional guide.
Howells Immigration team has been ranked as a top tier firm across Yorkshire and the Humber for specialising in areas of asylum, human rights and family immigration, as well as handling âa number of cases that proceeded to the Upper Tribunal.â
The Family team also remain highly ranked, being consistently recognised for their work in matrimonial and children law with the Head of the Department Alyson Siddall being recommended.
The Crime team have maintained their high rankings in both the general crime and fraud categories, with 4 members of the team gaining individual recommendations, including Chris Wong and Chris Davey for their âextensive experience working on complex fraudsâ, John Gibson for âleading a sizable teamâ and a new recommendation for Chris Peace for being âwell regarded for youth court workâ.
Praise was also given to the Civil Liberties and Human Rights, Medical Negligence, Personal Injury and Housing teams. Employment were recognised for âbranching out into respondent workâ as well as continuing claimant work.
