Howells Ranked as Leading Law Firm for Family Law and Medical Negligence

Howells Solicitors are proud to have once again been accredited in the prestigious legal 500 and Chambers and Partners as one of the leading law firms in the country. Our family law, medical negligence and criminal defence teams have once again been recognised and are ranked in the top tiers as leading law firms in the Yorkshire region.

The firm’s medical negligence department were ranked as a tier 3 firm in both legal 500 and chambers and partners, with the head of the civil litigation department, Michelle Gyte, once again being recognised as a star associate in the firm.

The firms family law team and criminal defence team were ranked as a tier 2 firm in Yorkshire once again in the legal 500. Family law solicitor and director, John Clegg, has been ranked as a tier 4 solicitor in Yorkshire.

The Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners are independent and impartial bodies that review professional law firms in the UK. They assess the strengths of law firms based on a series of criteria’s, such as client feedback, interviews with leading private practice solicitors and barristers, and their research team review cases the law firms have worked on that year.
