Helen Timlin

Helen started her career at Howells as a Secretary on the Children Team in 2022. She was promoted to Legal Assistant in the same year and most recently took on the role of Paralegal.

Helen is studying a Masters Degree in Law at the University of Law and aims to qualify as a Solicitor in 2026, following completion of the Solicitors Qualifying Exams. She was awarded a partial scholarship by the university for her essay on the topic of changing career.

Prior to pursuing a career in law, Helen worked with families experiencing domestic abuse, substance misuse and mental ill-health in various roles at non-profit organisations. As such, she has a unique perspective on the challenges faced by families and applies this knowledge to her practice.
