Isabella is a new enquiry handler and legal secretary in our civil litigation department, working mainly in our medical negligence team.
Isabella has a keen interest in both medicine and law, which inspired her to pursue a career in medical negligence â a unique area that bridges these two disciplines. Her passion for medicine was fostered through experiences such as the University of Sheffieldâs Discover Medicine programme and the VIVIT experience, the worldâs only live post-mortem, which enhanced her understanding of anatomy and pathology.
She further explored the intersection of technology and healthcare by attending the NeuroSoc conference and authoring an essay titled âThe Potential Impacts of Modern Technology on Neuroscienceâ, strengthening her research and analytical skills.
Alongside her academic pursuits, Isabella gained valuable exposure to the legal profession through work experience with several national law firms, each specialising in different areas, broadening her knowledge of the sector. In her current role as a Legal Secretary, Isabella is committed to providing efficient and proactive support to the team while continuing to develop her expertise in medical negligence. She is passionate about building a strong foundation for her future career within this specialist field.
