Tom is a Trainee Solicitor at Howells Solicitors, currently undertaking his final seat in the Wills, Trusts and Probate department. He began his training contract in March 2024, starting in the Medical Negligence and Inquests department, and has since completed a seat in the Children’s Law team.

Before moving into law, Tom spent over a decade working in the NHS as a specialist radiographer in hospitals across the UK and as a Clinical Supervisor at the University of Leeds. Alongside his clinical work, he completed two Master’s degrees and published research in his field.

Tom retrained in law, completing the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Sheffield. He joined Howells in March 2023 as a Medical Records Paginator and later worked as a Paralegal in the Medical Negligence team, gaining valuable experience ahead of his training contract.
